People of most nationalities require a tourist visa to enter Tanzania, costing US$50 which can be obtained at the point of entry. This is valid for 3 months and may be renewable.
(Some people prefer to apply for a visa in advance from the Tanzanian High Commission or Embassy in their home country.)
However, it is necessary to check visa requirements with your travel agent, as in some cases an application has to be made to a Tanzanian High Commission or Embassy BEFORE TRAVELLING.
